Everybody has seen the famous video ‘Americans are stupid’. Well it was a relief to see we are not alone. I just read this article that shows how smart the Brits are:
- 47 percent thought the 12th century English king Richard the Lionheart was a myth.
- 23 percent thought World War II prime minister Churchill was made up.
- 58 percent thought Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s fictional detective Holmes actually existed

123 percent thought World War II prime minister Churchill was made up.
That is the most shocking fact to me. Churchill is regarded so highly in the US and he alone probably saved the UK from a Nazi steamrolling. Very shocking.
